Samsung Refrigerator: It’s changed quite a bit
The standard Samsung refrigerator that you grew up with wouldn’t be recognized next to today’s latest Samsung refrigerators. Back 20-30 years ago, the only options available on refrigerators was if it included an ice maker in it and what color it came in. The side-by-side refrigerators have been around for quite a while, so this style isn’t anything new. But that doesn’t mean that there aren’t new features that are available in today’s models. The side-by-side design, makes it easier to reach and store items in the freezer or the fridge. With the standard top located freezer, it can often be difficult to reach the back corners of the freezer. Plus you have to bend down to find anything in the back of the fridge. With a side-by-side model, you can store your goods in a much easier to reach area. Today’s models also have some great features, for instance a special chiller and defroster inside the fridge, which allows you to defrost foods evenly or to chill beverages. Other models have an indoor ice-maker to maximize the storage space in the freezer. And some models even have a built-in wine rack inside!
Bottom Freezer
The bottom freezer design was created to put the frozen foods, which you access less often, at a lower level than the foods that you use all the time. Why make it so hard to get drinks and other regularly used items with the old fashioned design. These units typically have bins on the door to make it easy to access drinks. Most of these models also have separate cooling systems for both the freezer and fridge areas, which is much more efficient and prevents moisture from moving into the freezer area, keeping it dryer inside.
